The referee ignored ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s protests and gave Aldo Sciascia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Sciascia to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s goalkeeper Aurelio Giammaria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Aurelio Giammaria made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, C.J. 吕布 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and C.J. 吕布 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Cazalla charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Cazalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Benny Koks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Benny Koks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Jorge Sainz in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Yerko Rey. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s C.J. 吕布. But to his dismay, C.J. 吕布 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

C.J. 吕布 in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when C.J. 吕布 tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.J. 吕布 in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 62nd minute of play forced ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s goalkeeper Aurelio Giammaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Gisbert's late challenge caught a ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benny Koks was slow to take the kick. During this time ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s corner Benny Koks fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. C.J. 吕布 took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aurelio Giammaria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Koks in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s C.J. 吕布 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ made a substitution. Marvelous Ronaldinho replaced Evelio Urtun. Benny Koks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kryspin Galagan in the 91st minute. Jorge Sainz made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Camilo Franco however managed to control. Kryspin Galagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Uruguay's much stronger midfield.
