An unexpectedly hard shot by C.J. 吕布 in the 18th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by C.J. 吕布. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benny Koks showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Aurelio Giammaria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 30th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when C.J. 吕布 sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Aldo Sciascia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by C.J. 吕布. 41 minutes into the game, Matthew Garrido threw the ball into play from the sideline. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Bartosz Bednorz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by C.J. 吕布 in the 45th minute.

When C.J. 吕布 came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that C.J. 吕布 couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Giammaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.J. 吕布 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benny Koks took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
