In the 17th play minute Julian Gomesano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. In the 25th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Justino Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the EL REY DE LA CARNE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Bastia couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when EL REY DE LA CARNE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adrian Txanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EL REY DE LA CARNE's Justino Bastia pulled a muscle in his back after 48 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 48 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the EL REY DE LA CARNE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 49 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Eusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Venezuela were furious when Rigoberto Mina was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Txanton in the 75th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Domingo Baraquiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. EL REY DE LA CARNE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salvador Eusko in the 77th minute. EL REY DE LA CARNE's Adrian Txanton got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, EL REY DE LA CARNE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. EL REY DE LA CARNE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Patricio Costa scored to the left of an out of position Baltasar Santana, making the score, 4-1. Silvio Gumaro made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rolando Odon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Odon in the 101st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
