Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Ender Kuntay made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamil Kılıçdaroğlu in the 71st minute of play. Ender Kuntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
