Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökcan Bedi in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ümit Sarih in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Atilla Bumin Aktekin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Gökcan Bedi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ümit Sarih was the one to do the kick off. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manny Rubion in the 53rd minute of play. Gökcan Bedi took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. After 65 minutes, Gökcan Bedi made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ümit Sarih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ümit Sarih in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by DerbedeR spor's Gökcan Bedi. But to his dismay, Gökcan Bedi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gökcan Bedi's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Gökcan Bedi came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the DerbedeR spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökcan Bedi couldn't finish the play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökcan Bedi in the 82nd minute of play. Barış İdilkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute Ümit Sarih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, DerbedeR spor's Ümit Sarih nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. The DerbedeR spor players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
