Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Federico Izel charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Izel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Federico Izel hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Maropoulos in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Alex Palleschi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cornelio Cesaro came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Fix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cornelio Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 30 played minutes Pan Queso y Leberbush FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Izel. 31 minutes into the match, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Rafael Fix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dimitris Maropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafael Fix in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rafael Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Dimitris Maropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Fix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Dimitris Maropoulos made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Maropoulos in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Dimitris Maropoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Maropoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 76th minute Cornelio Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Cordarrol in the 78th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Fix made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rafael Fix quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Maropoulos in the 88th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Maropoulos in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Cornelio Cesaro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
