Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th match minute, FC Budapest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeromos Mayer to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Hellinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Budapest's Bálint Hellinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bálint Hellinger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bálint Hellinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bálint Hellinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Budapest's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bálint Hellinger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Botond Kutasi in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Félix Kis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Fehér in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miklós Fehér in the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Bálint Hellinger in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miklós Fehér sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Félix Kis kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Bálint Hellinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Bálint Hellinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 81st minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklós Fehér in the 85th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklós Fehér, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Botond Kutasi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Budapest.
