Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jose Bermudez's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Jose Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nerio Lopez de Toro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 12 minutes into the game, Nerio Lopez de Toro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bob Hyatt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ACC Mavericks's Bob Hyatt. Bob Hyatt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When ACC Mavericks's Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Hyatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes ACC Mavericks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Bob Hyatt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nerio Lopez de Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sebastián Puig during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. A hard shot by Jose Bermudez from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of ACC Mavericks booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nerio Lopez de Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuan Eubanks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, ACC Mavericks's Nerio Lopez de Toro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Hyatt having to interfere. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nerio Lopez de Toro took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ACC Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuan Eubanks didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Bob Hyatt in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ACC Mavericks's Bob Hyatt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save ACC Mavericks from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Çağrı Kıralp hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After having played for 97 minutes, Tuan Eubanks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACC Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuan Eubanks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
