An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play forced ★ Lobos FC ★'s goalkeeper Svante Valrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Luz Tejedor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 14 played minutes ★ Lobos FC ★ got a freekick which was hit by Eumaios Zorbas. After 14 played minutes, Peru's Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Svante Valrot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svante Valrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Aleksander Prus charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksander Prus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aleksander Prus hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Gerardo Piqué in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Svante Valrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gerardo Piqué made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. Svante Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play. The ★ Lobos FC ★ fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when ★ Lobos FC ★'s Haroldo Alfonso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Alfonso in the 41st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Fraga to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, ★ Lobos FC ★'s Svante Valrot got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Svante Valrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save ★ Lobos FC ★ from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute Kalle Österberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Svante Valrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Svante Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 69th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Svante Valrot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd minute, Kalle Österberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Svante Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 78th minute of play. When ★ Lobos FC ★'s Kalle Österberg in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes in the game, Eliseo Mina fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Svante Valrot having to interfere. Svante Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 91st minute of play. Peru's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
