Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute of the match, Tibor Surovec tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The attack was good, but when Tibor Surovec in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Dragan Horčička stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Dragan Horčička tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Chico Pirok had several of the Mexico's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Dante Lacasa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chico Pirok in the 29th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragan Horčička, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Dezider Šindelka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Dezider Šindelka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrej Karásek made a kick off. Dezider Šindelka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bohuslav Chlubna hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dezider Šindelka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barcelona's Chico Pirok. But to his dismay, Chico Pirok quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 72nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Anton Chlup. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Karásek in the 76th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Pirok in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Karásek in the 81st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Dragan Horčička ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 91 minutes into the match, Dragan Horčička had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dragan Horčička was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Andrej Karásek hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. FC Barcelona were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
