Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Heavenly Hooters's Todd Griffiths started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Todd Griffiths took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phil Naylor. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Marty King took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. In the 15th minute of the match, Todd Griffiths got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Todd Griffiths scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 4-0. After 24 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Lico Aldazabal. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Todd Griffiths in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Marty King reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 5-0. Phil Naylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Wright in the 54th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Todd Griffiths notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Naylor in the 60th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Phil Naylor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Phil Naylor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Griffiths, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Heavenly Hooters's Pedro Luiz de Moraes was substituted for Phil Naylor. Heavenly Hooters's Adrian Collier was substituted for Richárd Bódog. Heavenly Hooters's Shane Beesley was substituted for Ross Clark. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty King in the 78th minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Griffiths went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Griffiths in the 86th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz de Moraes took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Griffiths in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heavenly Hooters the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Heavenly Hooters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jake Grayson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Benito Sanz right hand side. Heavenly Hooters's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
