In the 3rd match minute, Intxaurrondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Zarobski to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Intxaurrondo's goalkeeper Salvador España, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salvador España showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Salvador España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of the match. Salvador España didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Intxaurrondo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Gorbea in the 26th minute. After taking down the ball on Intxaurrondo's corner Carlos Gorbea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Intxaurrondo's Cordareo Folch made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Salvador España tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Intxaurrondo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to a score. 1-2 in the 37th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordareo Folch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Intxaurrondo's Cordareo Folch made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 played minutes Intxaurrondo got a freekick which was hit by Cordareo Folch.

Manel Cardeñosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salvador España. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manel Cardeñosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Intxaurrondo's goalkeeper Salvador España had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Salvador España made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Van Den Broek came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador España made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 79th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Manel Cardeñosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intxaurrondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manel Cardeñosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Van Den Broek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salvador España. The goal made the score 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Intxaurrondo's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador España came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Intxaurrondo getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Carlos Gorbea hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gustaw Zarobski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Intxaurrondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Zarobski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Intxaurrondo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
