Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armand Mondon started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. When Bart De Castro fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perthes United's protests and gave Bart De Castro a yellow card for diving instead. Bart De Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Perthes United got a freekick which was hit by Octave Langevin. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Marie Sanquer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrice Lambolez in the 26th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hercule Basque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perthes United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hercule Basque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Marie Sanquer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Perthes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rayanne Ros to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 50th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jean-Marie Sanquer could save by the left post. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Marie Sanquer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Rayanne Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jean-Marie Sanquer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Perthes United booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrice Lambolez, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Perthes United! The goalkeeper, Jean-Marie Sanquer, was totally fooled by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Édouard Vie hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play forced Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernand Pierrel hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jean-Marie Sanquer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jean-Marie Sanquer made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Perthes United's Armand Mondon got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. A collision led to Perthes United getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rayanne Ros hit a great ball. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Marie Sanquer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jean-Marie Sanquer made a huge save. 96 minutes into the game, Starri Pramer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perthes United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Perthes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Starri Pramer didn't get a good kick on the ball.
