An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play forced Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's goalkeeper Bedir Erdönmez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Fiori Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fiori Guimarães got free with Rolando Noboa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bedir Erdönmez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Bedir Erdönmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bedir Erdönmez was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peru! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luz Tejedor to strike the kick off in the second half. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Guimarães in the 76th minute of play. Ellie Somantri hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Luz Tejedor came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bedir Erdönmez could save by the left post. Hasan Sentosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Bedir Erdönmez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë from getting a goal against them. Klim Gabelkov made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fülöp Winter however managed to control. In the 96th minute, Ellie Somantri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Diguinho Moreira got a free kick in the 97th minute. Bedir Erdönmez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eliseo Mina.
