The La France FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when La France FC's Fulvio Vittorio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 10 minutes of play, La France FC's Francisco Gutierrez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the game, Mei Wei Xuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Fulvio Vittorio put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 26th minute, Fulvio Vittorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mei Wei Xuan got free with Benito Sanz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Fulvio Vittorio sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 32nd minute, Fulvio Vittorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 39th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. La France FC's Francisco Gutierrez suffered a concussion in the 46th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Ferrant during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. La France FC made a substitution. Ryszard Percha replaced Francisco Gutierrez.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulvio Vittorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 61st minute. Efrain Moruga made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aaron Alcocer immediately put the ball in play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Vittorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Vittorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Fulvio Vittorio made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. 72 minutes into the match, Fulvio Vittorio notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La France FC's Edgardo Cordeal. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Fulvio Vittorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La France FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. La France FC's attentive Edgardo Cordeal managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Efrain Moruga got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Noboa. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Vittorio in the 85th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Vittorio came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. After 88th play minutes Fulvio Vittorio shot 16-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La France FC had played much better football throughout.
