Medárd Horváth started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Aron Chindriș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Medárd Horváth made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 18th minute, one of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GoooooooooooooooooooooooL. Aron Chindriș had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medárd Horváth in the 22nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Chindriș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Aron Chindriș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Medárd Horváth in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Medárd Horváth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Medárd Horváth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Medárd Horváth. In the 46th minute, Fabian Tximitx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Chindriș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Răcănel in the 55th minute of the match. If Medárd Horváth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Arias's late challenge caught a GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Arias helped the player get up and apologised. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL made a substitution. Pankracy Siwy replaced Paulino Marin. In the 62nd minute of the match Hortêncio Coutinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Leu's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Leu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narcis Răcănel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Leu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GoooooooooooooooooooooooL.
