Piast Chęciny's Dariusz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 10th minute of play. Dariusz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 12th minute of the match. Dariusz Piwko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 27th match minute, Piast Chęciny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Nowacki to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Hodyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dariusz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of the match. Dariusz Piwko came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Piast Chęciny getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Zachariasz Nowacki hit a great ball. Dariusz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Zachariasz Nowacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piast Chęciny's Dariusz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 51st minute of play. Dariusz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Facundo Cadaval struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Dariusz Piwko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Dariusz Piwko in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Dariusz Piwko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Dariusz Piwko made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes, Piast Chęciny's Dariusz Kucharski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piast Chęciny reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Dariusz Piwko in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Kluska, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Dariusz Piwko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Korneliusz Hodyl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dariusz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Piast Chęciny's goalkeeper Dariusz Piwko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. With a little luck, Piast Chęciny's Dariusz Piwko got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dariusz Piwko could save by the left post. In the 88th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dariusz Piwko. Piast Chęciny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 91st minute of play forced Piast Chęciny's goalkeeper Dariusz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dariusz Piwko, 1-7. The Piast Chęciny fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
