Agustín Saelices charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafim Neiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Endrik Joinvilense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black fox's supporters rose to their feet, but Endrik Joinvilense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
