The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kjell Alsvik had several of the El Salvador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Ricardo Zorita as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell Alsvik got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes El Salvador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafael Haimar who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rafael Haimar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Zorita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70th minute, Kjell Alsvik made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. La Gallardeta's Esteban Leizarraga was substituted for Teodoro Delfino. La Gallardeta's Filip Měchura was substituted for Kjell Alsvik. The throw-in from Mateo Leguizamo in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Gallardeta's Abel Ponciano. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Joshua Curbelo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Měchura in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Filip Měchura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 0-7. La Gallardeta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
