Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sigvard Wahlnäs tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Banga got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute of the match, Israel Faria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ceferino Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jairo Estrela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the game, BIAMAR's Sigvard Wahlnäs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, BIAMAR's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Caio Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Caio Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 45th match minute, BIAMAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Seixas to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Faria was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Estrela in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes BIAMAR got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Banga. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. BIAMAR's Caio Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ceferino Salvatore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, BIAMAR's Faruk Bakırcı got a free kick in the 76th minute. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a BIAMAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. BIAMAR's attentive Felix Luijpers managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Secada made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Sigvard Wahlnäs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Faruk Bakırcı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Faruk Bakırcı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
