After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Zach Harrison managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zach Harrison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Paskal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Etxahun hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mattias Svan who took care of the corner kick. Mattias Svan made a great header on Bustick Sport's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. 15 minutes into the match, Bustick Sport's Mattias Svan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Israel Etxahun hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jacob May's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Paskal was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Dacian Enescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roque Paskal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roque Paskal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 39th minute of play. Marco Day was a little too slow when Mattias Svan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Svan in the 55th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, USA's Koby Fletcher seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Koby Fletcher the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of USA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Koby Fletcher had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bustick Sport's Hacıxälil Charalambopoulos was substituted for Mattias Svan. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of USA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bustick Sport:s goal. Hacıxälil Charalambopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Donato Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Hacıxälil Charalambopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bustick Sport fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
