Jesus Sayveon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jesus Sayveon could save by the left post. Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Athletico Picapedrense from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jesus Sayveon made a huge save. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hristo Stoichkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesus Sayveon made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Jesus Sayveon was a little too slow when Mariano Lacasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Sayveon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristo Stoichkov in the 28th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hristo Stoichkov took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 35th playminute. Jesus Sayveon made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute Hristo Stoichkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hristo Stoichkov took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.

Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Lorenzo Jubera replaced Zenon Klewinski. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Athletico Picapedrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Uria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Sayveon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 57th minute of play. Eloi Fontanella received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Pliego came out and tried to block the shot, but Eloi Fontanella slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 58th minute. After 78 minutes Athletico Picapedrense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd minute of play forced Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 85th minute of play. If Guillermo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloi Fontanella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. When Orlando Casaus came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Casaus couldn't finish the play. Jesus Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 94th minute of the match. After 95th play minutes Mariano Lacasa shot 5-4, a short shot which went by Jesus Sayveon and just under the crossbar into goal.
