Ayvaz Sezmen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TeamSystem's Ayvaz Sezmen. Ayvaz Sezmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ayvaz Sezmen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 21st minute, Jose Correa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 30 played minutes TeamSystem got a freekick which was hit by Güral Muhlis. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, İhsan Özertan managed to get in a good position for a shot. TeamSystem's supporters rose to their feet, but İhsan Özertan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ayvaz Sezmen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ayvaz Sezmen having to make a save. In the 44th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Hamza Binışık made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ayvaz Sezmen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Patricio Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ayvaz Sezmen. The goal made the score 0-6. Güral Muhlis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ayvaz Sezmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ayvaz Sezmen saved TeamSystem from getting behind. Tomas Illescas spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of TeamSystem's goal. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TeamSystem's Ahmet Tolga Açar. In the 76th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ayvaz Sezmen. Ayvaz Sezmen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. A collision led to TeamSystem getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Güral Muhlis hit a great ball. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 83rd playminute. 86 minutes into the game, Joshua Secada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TeamSystem the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ali Hamza Binışık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, İhsan Özertan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ayvaz Sezmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. The TeamSystem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
