The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Olle Casillas in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Mei Wei Xuan came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by David Martinez in the 14 minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Gutierrez in the 16th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by La France FC's Fulvio Vittorio. But to his dismay, Fulvio Vittorio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 28 minutes into the game, Francisco Gutierrez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Vittorio in the 31st minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Mei Wei Xuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Fulvio Vittorio came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the La France FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulvio Vittorio couldn't finish the play. If Fulvio Vittorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Fulvio Vittorio sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Fulvio Vittorio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 0-7.
