In the 16th minute Adjat Inzaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Panțuru, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Panțuru in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianus Tambunan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrianus Tambunan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Panțuru in the 46th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Panțuru to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Filip Panțuru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uci Pakasi was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adjat Inzaghi in the 81st minute of the match. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrianus Tambunan saved Putra Rewulu from getting behind. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Mariano Lacasa sped through Putra Rewulu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrianus Tambunan. The supporters of Chile booed when Putra Rewulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorotheos Macheritsas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Francisco Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tytus Pracki in the 91 minute of the game. Adrianus Tambunan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Carballar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Putra Rewulu's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianus Tambunan came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Putra Rewulu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
