With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Daniel Ţîrlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Ekber Merdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd play minute Andre Huyterhoeven came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rolando Noboa. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The Huns's Ronan McCunn was substituted for Ekber Merdan. The audience was convinced that Daniel Ţîrlea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Vintilă Murgu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Vintilă Murgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes in the game Scott Martindale did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Xu Xun Jian. Ronan McCunn made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Ţîrlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Ţîrlea in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Vintilă Murgu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 85 minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Vintilă Murgu was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 3-3. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Scott Martindale in the 95 minute of the game. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
