Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Thiago Hudson made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 11th minute of play. Thiago Hudson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute of play. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Neiva having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 26th minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rômulo Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Hudson's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thiago Hudson to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Mukifus FSCMZ's Ben Zynek. But to his dismay, Ben Zynek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jaime Carro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gösta Lindell was slow to take the kick. During this time Mukifus FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Gösta Lindell made a great header on Mukifus FSCMZ's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. Rômulo Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
