Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Valentin Negroni made the kick off which started today's match. Metapalo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Baumar in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Negroni in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Metapalo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gavino Belarmo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Negroni's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 17th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Tytus Jaszcz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metapalo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jacinto Baumar hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Negroni in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Alberto Gisbert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gavino Belarmo, 1-1. In the 36th minute, Valentin Negroni made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 38th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes, Metapalo FC's Jacinto Baumar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metapalo FC reached it. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Metapalo FC from getting a goal against them. After 40 played minutes Francisco Seco rounded Metapalo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. The audience was convinced that Valentin Negroni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Valentin Negroni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Valentin Negroni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Negroni slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Tytus Jaszcz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Negroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Negroni's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joaquin Gayoso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Metapalo FC's Valentin Negroni. But to his dismay, Valentin Negroni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Gavino Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jacinto Baumar hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Seco during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Baumar. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Negroni in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Negroni. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Negroni got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the game, Valentin Negroni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Valentin Negroni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Metapalo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
