When August Hääger fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Andrashida's protests and gave August Hääger a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Andrashida's August Hääger got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play forced Andrashida's goalkeeper Aydemir Okyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrashida's Aydemir Okyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Alin. Torsten Alin kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 35thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ecuador's keeper Julio Vera was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Juskowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. August Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Juskowiak in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Andrashida's Aydemir Okyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Andrashida from getting a goal against them. If Andrzej Juskowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aydemir Okyar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andrzej Juskowiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Juskowiak in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrzej Juskowiak in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Andrzej Juskowiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. With his leg Aydemir Okyar managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 94 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Aydemir Okyar. The Andrashida fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
