Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lourenço Gama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folga's Reinaldo Azeredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 11th minute of play. Francisco Seco scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Azeredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Folga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Reinaldo Azeredo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Porfírio Araújo. Manuel Caldeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Folga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Gama didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Jaime Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Folga's Reinaldo Azeredo did a great save. In the 37th minute, Manuel Caldeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Lourenço Gama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Reinaldo Azeredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lourenço Gama managed to get in a good position for a shot. Folga's supporters rose to their feet, but Lourenço Gama was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manuel Caldeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Uruguay's Camilo Franco in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Folga's goalie prevented a goal. The Folga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 0-1.

55 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Porfírio Araújo came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Folga got a freekick which was hit by Severino Candeias. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Folga's Lourenço Gama got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Folga getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lourenço Gama hit a great ball. When Severino Candeias fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Folga's protests and gave Severino Candeias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Folga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Candeias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfírio Araújo in the 73rd minute of play. With his leg Reinaldo Azeredo managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reinaldo Azeredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Escribano's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Manuel Caldeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Francisco Seco scored 0-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Azeredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Tarcísio Esparteiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Folga's goalkeeper Reinaldo Azeredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Reinaldo Azeredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 94 minutes into the match, Folga's goalkeeper Reinaldo Azeredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
