Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, August Hääger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 57th minute of play forced Andrashida's goalkeeper Aydemir Okyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Aydemir Okyar made a huge save. If Andrzej Juskowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Andrashida.
