Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Curacao's Kyle Davies started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Benedicto Esiquio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Filiberto Gartzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Metán's Melchor Tiniebra. But to his dismay, Melchor Tiniebra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Gartzi in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Melchor Tiniebra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Filiberto Gartzi took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Dorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Metán fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Metán's Filiberto Gartzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Metán's Filiberto Gartzi. But to his dismay, Filiberto Gartzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiberto Gartzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stanley Wallace might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Bastia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanley Wallace ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Filiberto Gartzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. After 68 minutes, Benedicto Esiquio made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Bruno Barrett managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Metán's Filiberto Gartzi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Gartzi got free with Bruno Barrett in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Melchor Tiniebra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Melchor Tiniebra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Gartzi in the 84th minute. Filiberto Gartzi came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Barrett could save by the left post. When Benedicto Esiquio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Metán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Esiquio couldn't finish the play. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Tiniebra in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Metán booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metán's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
