Luca Espinar scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Pueblo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 34 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Mario Pueblo managed to make a qualified save. Metapalo FC's players were relieved. Metapalo FC's Mario Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Mario Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Leonides Ledesma hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Metapalo FC's Mario Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 46th minute of play. When Leonides Ledesma fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metapalo FC's protests and gave Leonides Ledesma a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Mario Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute of the match. Mario Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Metapalo FC's Mario Pueblo. Mario Pueblo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Mario Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 68th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Mario Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Metapalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Atauri to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Pueblo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. 72 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Mario Pueblo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Mario Pueblo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Pueblo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. But to his dismay, Moises Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 77th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Mario Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Honduras booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Mario Pueblo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Metapalo FC's Mario Pueblo. Mario Pueblo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Sebastian Villa sped through Metapalo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mario Pueblo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 87th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Mario Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metapalo FC's Mario Pueblo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mario Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Honduras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
