A collision led to 穆巴拉克 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. 蔡军建 hit a great ball. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
