Moises Arellano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. River tu grato nombre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 41 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Moises Arellano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moises Arellano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

In the 56th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. 57 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of River tu grato nombre's Moises Arellano. Moises Arellano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Moises Arellano could save by the left post. 61 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moises Arellano. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Camilo Gisbert made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of River tu grato nombre's Moises Arellano. 0-11. Moises Arellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 minutes River tu grato nombre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Moises Arellano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Camilo Gisbert made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Andino immediately put the ball in play. Moises Arellano was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Luis Andino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Andino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. Moises Arellano came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. River tu grato nombre's Moises Arellano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save River tu grato nombre from getting a goal against them. Moises Arellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Ecuador's Antonio Arias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. In the 98th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moises Arellano. Moises Arellano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
