JEMBer UTara's Paulino Cheche got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by İlyas Seçkiner in the 21 minute of the game. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luz Tejedor in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cheng Hao Wei saved JEMBer UTara from getting behind. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Cheng Hao Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Paulino Cheche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, one of Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Emmanuel Reyes made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. Aniol Peña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aniol Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A collision led to JEMBer UTara getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rolly Salisbury hit a great ball. Lucas Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Cheng Hao Wei in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aniol Peña in the 68th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sun Yi Yu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, Peru's Rafael Gallo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cheng Hao Wei was left in no man's land by his defense there! JEMBer UTara were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
