Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pastor Valery. Pastor Valery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pastor Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Capdevilla's goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Capdevilla's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Capdevilla's Pastor Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Capdevilla defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Valery. The Capdevilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Valery should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Maju in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pastor Valery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Diagur. 30 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Capdevilla's Pastor Valery. Pastor Valery was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Pastor Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Pastor Valery came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Capdevilla made a substitution. Carolo Christobal replaced Filomeno Hitz.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Maju to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Diagur in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 75 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Pastor Valery made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pastor Valery, 0-7. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pastor Valery could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pastor Valery came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 80th minute. When Miguel Diagur came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Capdevilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Diagur couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Dolfo in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Capdevilla's goalkeeper Pastor Valery, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Capdevilla got a freekick which was hit by Omar Maju. Victorio Lehior charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Lehior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, one of Capdevilla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Capdevilla. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Diagur, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute.
