Sidnei de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caarapo SS's Sidnei de Souza did a great save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 26th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Cesinha Pena scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Jesper Åberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ruy Dracena sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesper Åberg in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ruy Dracena sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Caarapo SS's Jesper Åberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 44th minute, Benny Schweitzer made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 48 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesper Åberg's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Jesper Åberg put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute, Ruy Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caarapo SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Åberg in the 63rd minute of play. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Sebastião de Lima replaced Jesper Åberg. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 77th minute of the match Jonathan Mendes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Mathias Gaúcho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Videl Romani in the 80th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Caarapo SS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Sidnei de Souza made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Caarapo SS's Sebastião de Lima. But to his dismay, Sebastião de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Caarapo SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
