Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Polo during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Franklin Polo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cristobal Jesus came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 9 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson Berinduaga. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taltum FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Cristobal Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristobal Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Jesus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Jesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristobal Jesus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Edson Berinduaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taltum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristobal Jesus. Taltum FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Jesus was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Jesus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Jesus having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cristobal Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 45th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Velarroa to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Vito Areta made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Jesus having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Cristobal Jesus in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Cristobal Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Cristobal Jesus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taltum FC's Cristobal Jesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Taltum FC's Cristobal Jesus got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristobal Jesus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 79 minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cristobal Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Cristobal Jesus made a huge save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cristobal Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Agustín Saelices took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Cristobal Jesus to make any attempt to save it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cristobal Jesus in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Jesus having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
