Hernan Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Constantino Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. Hernan Fernanco came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Honorio Mikeldi could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Hernan Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play forced Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Lartaun came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Lartaun in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play forced Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 46 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Fernanco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Peru's Julian Murillo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Constantino Lartaun took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Fernanco having to interfere. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hernan Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernan Fernanco came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 75th minute. Hernan Fernanco made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Eliseo Mina sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efraim Gilabert during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Efraim Gilabert hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Antonio Tenorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Fernanco having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Honorio Mikeldi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
