In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aydemir Okyar having to interfere. Kang Chen Bin's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kang Chen Bin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Andrashida getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kang Chen Bin hit a great ball. Andrzej Juskowiak scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torsten Alin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Juskowiak in the 32nd minute of the match. Andrashida's Aydemir Okyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Andrashida from getting a goal against them. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aydemir Okyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
