Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Shi Ming scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ming came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Ming got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenneth Libesoons. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Kenneth Libesoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Kenneth Libesoons came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Shi Ming managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terremoto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shi Ming was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Santino Seco sped through Terremoto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kenneth Libesoons. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. When Shi Ming in the 38th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Pedro Manzanares kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Terremoto FC's Shi Ming got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Shi Ming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Shi Ming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Ming in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's Shi Ming sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Terremoto FC made a substitution. Jeremias Macedo replaced Shi Ming. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Macedo in the 68th minute of play. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Macedo in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Terremoto FC from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Macedo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Jeremias Macedo made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 93rd minute, C.J. Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match, Ignacio Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kenneth Libesoons saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Terremoto FC.
