Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Sten Thedin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Bird FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sten Thedin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes, Pankracy Naskrent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bird FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Bird FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Naskrent to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bird FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Czeslaw Jaktorowo hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Bird FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Sten Thedin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Thedin having to interfere. Sten Thedin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nathan Preca's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bird FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bird FC's Sten Thedin. 0-2. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taqi Taqi to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sten Thedin. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taqi Taqi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Bird FC's Matthias Smed was substituted for Nathan Preca. After 70 minutes Bird FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Mario in the 72nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taqi Taqi in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute Mel Chung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taqi Taqi in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bird FC's Taqi Taqi. But to his dismay, Taqi Taqi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taqi Taqi in the 95th minute of the match.
