When the match clock showed 2 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Matías Catarinense sped through Jamaica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. After 8 minutes of play, Brunogenio's Teodoro Perez made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Matías Catarinense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Cristiano Rosado took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 21st minute Matías Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Perez went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 26th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finlay Stair to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Matías Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Moraes in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Romon Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the Brunogenio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36thth minute of the game Matías Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Brunogenio's Sandro Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 41stth minute of the game Matías Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodoro Perez scored 0-9 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Romário de Barros scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 0-12. 67 minutes into the game, Brunogenio's Sandro Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Moraes in the 71st minute of play. Romon Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Abelardo Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Perez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brunogenio's Sandro Moraes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Romário de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Demonde Jacobson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-18. 97 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Perez. The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brunogenio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
