Xorxe Duran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Xorxe Duran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Xorxe Duran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xorxe Duran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th match minute, Valhalla F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabel Candelo to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xorxe Duran. After a defensive mix-up in Valhalla F.C.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xorxe Duran came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Miguel Lagarejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valhalla F.C.'s Xorxe Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Valhalla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Lagarejos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Xorxe Duran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Valhalla F.C.'s Marcelo Penilla got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Lesardo Galve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Valhalla F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xorxe Duran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Felix Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Xorxe Duran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xorxe Duran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xorxe Duran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita scored 0-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xorxe Duran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xorxe Duran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 93 played minutes Valhalla F.C. got a freekick which was hit by 王益邦. Valhalla F.C.'s Xorxe Duran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Valhalla F.C. from getting a goal against them. When Miguel Lagarejos fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valhalla F.C.'s protests and gave Miguel Lagarejos a yellow card for diving instead. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valhalla F.C. throughout the match.
