Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Miguel Transito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Errapel having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Transito in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Santa Maradona getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gervasio Garcia hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Transito in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 18th minute. Laureano Sustrai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Martxot was slow to take the kick. During this time Santa Maradona's players had a chance to rest. Santa Maradona's Haroldo Martxot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Errapel saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. Laureano Sustrai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Laureano Sustrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Miguel Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wei Kang Hai charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wei Kang Hai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Rodolfo Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Rodolfo Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Santa Maradona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Errapel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 58th minute of play. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Maradona's Miguel Transito. But to his dismay, Miguel Transito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 65th minute of play. Miguel Transito took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Transito in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Errapel was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Errapel was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Jonathan Errapel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 98 minutes, Haroldo Martxot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Maradona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Martxot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Santa Maradona were the better team. Santa Maradona's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
