The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Nurettin Tun in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

51 minutes into the match, Victoro Soto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoro Soto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Danton Boule hit a great ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carno FK. The audience was convinced that Sven Vollander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Sven Vollander might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Vollander ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoro Soto in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrullah İrfanoğlu having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danton Boule didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carno FK's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoro Soto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Vollander went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Carno FK defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hayrullah İrfanoğlu. The Carno FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hayrullah İrfanoğlu should have stopped the shot. Carno FK made a substitution. Vecdet Seyfeddin replaced Cameron Pruett.
