Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustave Paelinck got the match started through his kick off. Jan-Joost Werner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Roma Capoccia getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. It was Elia Cirulli who took care of the corner kick. Roma Capoccia's Elia Cirulli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Joost Werner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Joost Werner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Roma Capoccia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Cambranes to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Joost Werner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 24th minute of the match. A very nice done corner allowed Juan Sebastián Puig to score against Jan-Joost Werner in Roma Capoccia's goal. 0-1 after 26 minutes. 29 minutes into the match, Roma Capoccia's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Jan-Joost Werner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Joost Werner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustave Paelinck in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Roma Capoccia's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Werner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustave Paelinck in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Jan-Joost Werner on his right side and into the goal. 43 minutes into the game it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Mortier in the 64th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Roma Capoccia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jan-Joost Werner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustave Paelinck in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Roma Capoccia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Amos Bordon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Roma Capoccia's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Werner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Mortier in the 89th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Roma Capoccia got a freekick which was hit by Durval Dracena. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ecuador played a much better game than Roma Capoccia and deserved their victory. The Roma Capoccia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
