Pedro Raitins short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Venancio Azeari struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tequileros FC. In the 12th minute Conrado Baudelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayhan Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Edgard Magdaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Edgard Magdaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led to Tequileros FC's Conrado Baudelio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Pedro Raitin sent off a good shot on target. After 22 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ayhan Vuralhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tequileros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgard Magdaleno in the 26th minute. After taking down the ball on Tequileros FC's corner Edgard Magdaleno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Venancio Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tequileros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Azeari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Ayhan Vuralhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Luis Cazalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgard Magdaleno's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Magdaleno helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tequileros FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Edgard Magdaleno hit a great ball. Tequileros FC made a substitution. Ildefonso Lorien replaced Blas Esiquio. In the 91st match minute, Tequileros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. Ayhan Vuralhan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ignacio Mastache showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 93 minute of play.
