The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Mukifus FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of USA:s goal. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Zach Harrison hit a great ball. When Gösta Lindell came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mukifus FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Lindell couldn't finish the play. Rômulo Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 14th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Edward Mcdonald to score against Rômulo Neiva in Mukifus FSCMZ's goal. 1-0 after 14 minutes. In the 18th minute, USA's Monty Rogers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With his leg Rômulo Neiva managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when USA's Cassius Byrne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Carro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rômulo Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 28th minute. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Rômulo Neiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The attack was good, but when Jacob May in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Rômulo Neiva made a huge save. Rômulo Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 40th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Cassius Byrne fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rômulo Neiva quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mukifus FSCMZ's Woody Vaquero got a free kick in the 44th minute. Rômulo Neiva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cassius Byrne. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Rômulo Neiva in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mukifus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ben Zynek hit a great ball. In the 54th minute of the match Cassius Byrne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rômulo Neiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 68th minute when Thiago Hudson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 78th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Jaime Carro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Mukifus FSCMZ's Filipe Freire was substituted for Jaime Carro. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 91st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Mukifus FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Herensuge Colomes. Rômulo Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The USA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mukifus FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
